Engraving
How long does engraving take?
All engravings are done to order. Please allow 3–5 business days for engraving and production, plus shipping time. We don't rush the ritual.
Can I change my engraving after ordering?
Engraving begins within 24 hours of your order. Please contact us at dear@herrite.com immediately if you need to make a change — we'll do our best, but cannot guarantee amendments once production has started.
What if there's a mistake in my engraving?
If the engraving error is on our end, we'll replace it at no cost. If the error was in the text you submitted, we can re-engrave at a reduced fee. Either way — write to us at dear@herrite.com with a photo.
What languages can be engraved?
Currently we support English Latin characters only (A–Z, a–z, spaces, and common punctuation). We're working on expanding to other scripts — write to us if you have a specific request.
How many characters can I engrave?
It depends on your engraving level: L01 energy word (from our library of 12), L02 name up to 12 characters, L03 phrase of 5–10 words plus a short signature.
Shipping & Delivery
Do you ship internationally?
Yes. We currently ship to Australia, Thailand, Singapore, Hong Kong, and New Zealand. More destinations coming soon — write to us if your country isn't listed.
Is shipping free?
Free shipping on all Australian orders over $99 AUD. Standard shipping is $8.95 AUD for orders under $99. International shipping rates are calculated at checkout.
How will my order be packaged?
Every HERRITE order arrives in our matte black ritual box — blush tissue paper, a canvas bag, and a ritual card. It's designed to feel like opening a ceremony, not an online order.
Returns & Exchanges
Can I return an engraved comb?
Because every engraved comb is made to order and personalised, we're unable to accept returns on engraved items unless there is a manufacturing defect or engraving error on our part.
What if my comb arrives damaged?
We're so sorry if this happened. Please email dear@herrite.com with your order number and a photo of the damage within 7 days of delivery — we'll make it right.
Gifting
Can I include a gift message?
Yes. Add your message in the order notes at checkout and we'll include a handwritten-style card inside the ritual box. Keep it to 2–3 sentences — the comb carries the rest.
Not sure which comb to choose for someone else?
Tell us about her — her hair, her job, what she's been going through — and we'll suggest the right comb and energy word. Write to us at dear@herrite.com or use the form on our For Her page.
